~ Write For Us! The Pain Practitioner Author Guidelines ~
The Pain Practitioner, the bi-monthly magazine of the Academy of Integrative Pain Management (AIPM), informs and educates clinicians who practice pain management about updates in research, diagnosis, and treatment; how these complex conditions can be treated through an integrative approach; and about challenging current medical, ethical, and legal issues that affect their practices. We are accepting evidence-based articles that support integrated, multidisciplinary, and multimodal models of care.
The print edition of The Pain Practitioner offers advertisers exposure to almost 4,000 members of AIPM, plus an additional 6,000 who practice in the specialty of pain medicine. It is printed in four-color format six times a year. The digital edition of the magazine is released a week after the print edition, and is archived online for reference.
The digital edition reaches almost 4,000 members of AIPM and an additional 56,000 who practice in the specialty of pain medicine. Advertisers can take advantage of digital-only ad units, as well as ad videos, slideshows and other interactive content.
In addition, content is promoted via social media and our bi-weekly e-newsletter, and the AIPM blog.
We are interested in all chronic pain conditions with a particular focus on:
Beginning in 2017, clinical articles may be repurposed as enduring continuing education activities and housed on the AIPM Pain Care Learning Center for up to two years. The AIPM has been designated by the ACCME and the APA to directly accredit education.
